Hello.
First of all may i extend a warm welcome to all Lancs and non-Lancs fans alike.
This forum was originally set up back in early August 2007 in the knowledge that there were no unofficial forums for fans of Lancashire cricket club to talk about the club and related matters. For a club of Lancashire's size this was not acceptable (even our good neighbours Yorkshire have at least 2). Subsequently, just several weeks after the opening of our Unofficial Lancs Cricket Forum the official Lancashire CCC forum was shut down - rather disgracefully on the first day of the final game of that particular Championship title chasing season.

Everybody is welcome here, not just Lancashire fans. It makes for a better forum to get the views and opinions of other fans and of course friendly banter is always fun.

Viewing the main forum as a guest has recently been disabled so in order to read and post in the various threads you must first register and log-in. All new registrations first need to be approved by an admin, so to avoid delay and possible deletion, please refrain from using usernames that may be flagged as SPAM (usually a bunch of random letters and/or numbers). Furthermore due to the Spambots being able to bypass the captcha (that's the code you have to type in during the registration process) in recent months, we now ask that (after registering your username) you send an email message to the forum Admin address in order to prove that you are actually a human user.

As an unofficial forum the aim is to create a place for open discussion without the need for the type of over-zealous moderation that usually occurs on official sites. So the hope is that this place will be self-governing, we'll see how it goes.

However any kind of spamming, advertising and general trolling will not be tolerated.

Feel free to PM Admin, email the Forum Management or post a new topic if you have any help, advice or suggestions for the forum.
Remember it's a fan forum for the fans.

Should anyone have any log-in problems and thus are not able to post, please feel free to message the Forum Management at the email you should have received upon registering. Occasionally the forum goes down rendering users unable to log-in. This is generally because of software upgrades, bug-fixes and the like. Thankfully when this happens it's the exception rather than the rule. Please don't moan about this, it's a free forum after all.
