Hello. Good to see some old friends among the members list. Let's hope that we can celebrate the title both here and on the official forum (before it goes the way of all flesh  ).
Added a bit later: I know I'm an old 'fuddy duddy' (in joining the board I have probably doubled the average age) but what is a 'Console Cricketer'? Is what we are going to have to do to the Sussex players when they don't win the championship?

happened to me twice now, i log in and tick the remember me box, but when i shut comp down and come back I'm not logged in.  |

If you go to your profile page there is an 'avatar' section. All you need to do is copy the address of the picture and place it in that section. Hey presto - that picture appears under your name when you post.
I am not sure if the picture has to be a certain size. One board I am on even has moving avatars - some of them are excellent. There is a person on the board who can animate avatars if you ask her.
The avatar I use there is on my section of 'Photobucket'. As it is a picture of me I had better not link to it or I might put people off the new board.
Added later: The maximum size is 100 by 100 pixels. This is larger than the one I created for the other board so I could link to it. In addition, it appears you can upload a picture from your own computer to the board.

In one T20 innings this place seems to have doubled in size, or have all the guests finally decided to register???
To get a pic up you have to upload your own. Go to your profile and somewhere near the bottom it will say 'upload avatar' or something. |

No. The official forum is closing down soon (hopefully not until after we have won the championship!) and someone put a link to this forum.
I agree with adder that there do seem to be some swear words. As some young people will be looking at the forum I hope this is - how shall I put it? - discouraged.
