Quite ludicrous. They might not be footballers amounts but the world has gone totally mad. I love my county cricket but how can an unproven player like Moore ( whom I admit I wanted us to sign) be worth seven nurses . No wonder we need to pop concerts.

Yes, your right they are not footballers but how many nurses would you get
for some of the top footballers then, there`s more money coming into cricket these days with TV and 20-20 ect so it`s only right that some of it should go to the players.

Lancashire born James Anyon has moved from Warks to Sussex.

In the early part of this century there was much debate in the junior ranks and senior ranks of the Northern League as to who would do best as a pro cricketer,

Stephen Croft of Blackpool
Tom Smith of Chorley
or James Anyon of Preston.

All three have still to make their mark.

no pressure on Moore then.

I thought it was two overseas players allowed for 20/20 but see it is four. How many clubs can afford 4?

If money was no object and the players hadn't not been snapped up by another county ...
